What We Offer

Program

The programs of the Esther M. Koleosho Memorial Foundation reflect our priorities for improving the quality of life for widows. They are as follows:

Vocational Training Programs

Assist widows in becoming self-sufficient by providing opportunities to acquire new job skills such as tailoring, handicrafts, etc.
Our Vocational Training Programs are designed to equip individuals with practical skills and hands-on experience to enhance employability and foster economic independence. Focused on in-demand industries such as IT, handicrafts, hospitality, and technical trades, these programs provide comprehensive training, mentorship, and career support.

Educational Support for Children

Provide educational assistance to the children of widows, ensuring they have access to quality education up to secondary school level based on financial need.
EMK Foundation is committed to shaping a brighter future for children through our Educational Support Programs. We provide underprivileged children with access to quality education, school supplies, and learning resources to ensure no child is left behind. Our initiatives include scholarships, after-school tutoring, and mentorship programs that nurture academic excellence and personal growth.

Healthcare and Counseling Services

Set up clinics that offer free or subsidized healthcare, including emotional support and counseling for widows and their families during the period of adjustment to normal daily living.
We believe that good health is the cornerstone of a thriving community. Our Healthcare and Counseling Services aim to provide accessible, affordable, and quality care to those in need. From organizing medical camps and offering preventive care to providing mental health counseling and wellness workshops, we address the physical and emotional well-being of individuals and families.

Community Awareness Programs

Organize workshops and seminars to raise awareness about the challenges widows face and the importance of supporting them within the community.
This Program is designed to educate, engage, and empower communities on critical social, environmental, and health-related issues. Through workshops, campaigns, and interactive sessions, we address topics such as gender equality, climate change, public health, and social justice.

Support Groups and Networking

Create support groups where widows can share their experiences, offer each other emotional support, and build a sense of community and companionship.
EMK Foundation’s Support Groups and Networking initiatives create safe spaces for individuals to connect, share experiences, and find encouragement. These groups focus on providing emotional support and practical solutions for various challenges, such as mental health, caregiving, and career development.

Skills Upgradation Workshops

Facilitate and implement programs that enhance the process of self-reliance for widows who have already received training in a trade.
Skills Upgradation Workshops are designed to help individuals stay competitive in an ever-changing job market. These workshops provide hands-on training, expert guidance, and the latest industry insights to enhance existing skills or acquire new ones.

Partnership with Local Organizations

Collaborate with local women’s organizations, NGOs, and churches to expand the reach and impact of the foundation’s programs.
We believe in the power of collaboration to drive meaningful change. Our partnerships with local organizations enable us to leverage collective strengths and resources to address pressing community needs. By working hand-in-hand with grassroots groups, NGOs, and community leaders, we design and implement impactful programs tailored to local contexts.
